Product Overview:

VFFS film (Vertical Form Fill Seal film) is a specialized material designed for automated packaging equipment, widely used in the food and fast-moving consumer goods industries. Its purpose is to rapidly and efficiently package bulk products into various types of bags through a vertical forming, filling, and sealing process.

Our VFFS film is made from PET//PE/PA/EVOH/PA/PE high barrier laminted film, the normal color is transparent, also we can offer printed design.

VFFS Machine:

When a VFFS packaging machine is in operation, a roll of film is unwound and guided through the packaging machine with the correct web tension. The film then passes over the filling shoulder, after which a bag is formed. At the same time, the product is filled (vertically). After filling and sealing, the product is finished and placed on a conveyor for further packaging.

VFFS Film Sealing:

Overlap seam or fold-over seam:

There are two types of longitudinal seams. In the overlap seam or lap seal one edge of the web of film is placed over the other edge, so that the material overlaps. In this way, the inside of the first edge is sealed to the outside of the other edge.

With a fold-over seam or fin seal, one edge of the web of film is folded over, so the inside of the one edge is sealed to the inside of the other edge.
